What is an e-book?

An E-book consists of printable pages that can be viewed on your computer screen or printed out on your home printer.

It is so simple to use, you just click on the print button and that's it.

Several pages are editable allowing you to personalize printables with names and sentiments of your choice. Simply delete the portion where my text appears and type your own.

Font styles cannot be changed. Font size is automatically resized wherever possible. If you want to save a version with your text, click on file and then select save as.

E-book format is very helpful, if you don't have or want to use a software program for graphics.

REQUIRED SOFTWARE: You will need the latest version of Acrobat Reader or Foxit Reader to use my e-books. Most likely you already have this program, you may check this out by clicking on the Start button, point to All Programs and then see if you can locate a program Adobe Acrobat. Or click here to open sample place cards, this file should automatically open in this program for you.

A quick check if you need an update of this program:

Can you type in your text?
Can you save the file?
Can you print the file?
If you can only print but not change text, you will need a new version. But if you can change text, save and print, you already have the latest version.

E-books are zipped and you will need to unzip them first before you can use them.

Graphics are also available with every set so if you prefer working in your software programs, .jpg or .png graphics would work best for you.

How to Save

All new ebooks will allow you to save what you type! And all future ebooks will have the save feature enabled.

But it will take me longer to update my older sets. I have over 5000 files to open and re-save. Update - this has now been completed, now I have to zip and upload files online. This will also take a couple weeks.
Here's what I can do, if you want the one you have with the save button, please let me know and I'll start re-saving your files first.

How to Print E-books
ACROBAT READER

Click on the Print button. This opens a print dialog box.

1. Under “Page Scaling” choose “None ” (this will print at the exact size.)

2. Select 'Auto-Rotate and Center'.

3. Then click the ADVANCED button.
In the Advanced Window select PRINT AS IMAGE.

4. Click OK to start printing.

FOXIT READER

Click Print. This opens a print dialog box.

Under “Page Scaling” choose “Actual Size”.

Select 'Auto-Rotate and Center'.

Click OK.
